剧情：
瑞奇（梅丽尔·斯特里普 Meryl Streep 饰）是一位性格十分狂野，向往自由的奇女子。很多年以前，为了追逐自己的摇滚梦想，瑞奇毅然决然的离开了丈夫皮特（凯文·克莱恩 Kevin Kline 饰），亦抛弃了两个孩子朱莉（麦米·古默 Mamie Gummer 饰）与约书亚（塞巴斯蒂安·斯坦 Sebastian Stan 饰），她的离去给这个原本幸福的家庭带来了不可磨灭的创伤。 一晃眼多年过去，瑞奇久违的受到了皮特的邀请，邀请她参加小儿子约书亚的婚礼，与此同时，瑞奇也得知了大女儿朱莉离婚的消息。当这个不称职的妈妈再度回归破碎家庭之时，会发生怎样的故事呢？人到中年的瑞奇终于发现，原来亲情才是她这一生中最珍贵的东西。
